OPI Femme De Cirque Collection

Who has ever said that nail varnishes need to be all colourful and shimmering! Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy wearing a bit of a colour on my nails most of the time, but to break the ‘routine’ I decided to go for this nude, clean but with a very glossy finish Femme De Cirque Collection that was launched last year in April by OPI.

OPI Femme De Cirque

This collection contains three ‘clean’ colours: So Many Clowns … So Little Time (milky off-white), In the Spot-Light Pink (baby pink), Step Right Up! (milky pinkish), and a sheen top coat: I Juggle …Men (transparent with purple and pink shimmer), that can also be worn on its own (take a look below).

From left to right: I Juggle ...Men, So Many Clowns ... So Little Time, In the Spot-Light Pink, Step Right Up!

This collection belongs to the safe option, which means that even those who don’t like a bit of a colour on their nails will feel comfortable wearing them! The colours are perfect for spring and summer seasons, but most of all for the wedding season that’s about to start!

The colours are clean, milky with a glossy finish. I’ve used three coats of each colour to obtain the best result:

I Juggle ...Men - this sheen top coat is wearable on its own. It's full of pink and purple shimmer
So Many Clowns ... So Little Time - This is a pure, milky off-white colour.

In the Spot-Light Pink - This is a natural baby pink colour - my favourite of this collection!

Step Right Up! - This milky pinkish colour is full of pureness and best for any wedding!

All of the three colours on it's own, next to each other to compare. From left to right we have: So Many Clowns ... So Little Time, In the Spot-Light Pink and Step Right Up!

All of the three colours with the shimmering top coat on, from left to right we have: So Many Clowns ... So Little Time, In the Spot-Light Pink and Step Right Up!

So if you aren’t a fan of the bold colours, this collection is for you! The nails look natural and glossy!

  1. These look like perfect colors for giving your nails that "perfected" look without actually having perfect nails.

  2. I do prefer to have colour on my nails, but these would be perfect if you work somewhere that doesn't allow unnatural shades :) x

    1. Thank you for your comment Emma! You're right! I have a friend who's a nurse and she always commented on not being able to wear nail varnish as would need to take it off just after a day of enjoying it as work doesn't allow it! It's a perfect collection for nurses or beauticians :)) Thanks, Mags xx

  4. These colours a bit too far to the nude side for me. I love OPI's bright colours.

    1. Thanks for your comment Faye! I understand you as I also like more colours on my nails, but am actually enjoying the nude that I'm wearing now. However, for more colourful tones, please check my newest blog: Touring America the mini OPI Collection: http://b-e-a-u-t-y-u.blogspot.com/2012/03/touring-america-with-opi-collection.html
